Regardless of the amount of trauma and suffering one has experienced there is always a path of healing and processing that trauma. For some individuals they may prefer the traditional talk therapy. For others, they may prefer to utilize non-verbal techniques in order to alter the maladaptive thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that have arisen as a result of a stressful or traumatic event. Both methods are effective in healing trauma, but what is most effective for YOU. I provide eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to children, adolescents and adults who have experienced event(s) in their lives that is negatively impacting their ability to become the best version of themselves.
